Trail Characteristcs: We will find slopes with loose stones, cliffs and walls for Rappel, and luckily, along the way, we will see foxes, deer and various native animals of the region, we will walk through several fantastic "beaches" of white stones in the arms of the river, which give us a huge sense of peace and introspection, we will pass by ranches with animals (horses and cows and some walk freely along the trail), until we reach the famous Laghetto di San Benedetto, a place of inspiration. Itinerary: - 6:30 AM Pick up tourists from hotels in Rome, transfer to the trekking area. - 8:00 AM Breakfast in Jenne (a charming small town high in the valley with a panoramic view). - 8:30 AM Trekking begins from Jenne towards a gorge nicknamed "Mount Valhalla" with an incredible view of the San Benedetto valley. - 10:30 AM Trekking begins on the path of San Benedetto next to the Aniene River, a stunning setting (Moment of introspection). - 12:30 PM Break for a snack. - 2:00 PM Trekking ends. - 2:20 PM Visit to the Laghetto di San Benedetto, fed by the waters of the Aniene River (built by Nero), a sacred place where Saint Benedict used to spend time and meditate. - 3:30 PM Socializing with wines and cheeses typical of the region. - 4:10 PM Transfer back to hotels in Rome. The total distance of this trek is 9 km, completed in approximately 6 hours, with breaks for rest, photos, contemplation of the scenery, and, of course, snacks.
